Who and what is the GSI?

The Groenkloof Safety Initiative (“GSI”) was established in February 2007 after a serious shooting incident in Herbert Baker Street. Run by a team of volunteer residents who are passionate about keeping Groenkloof one of the safest suburbs in South Africa, the GSI’s main aim is to displace crime from the area (West of Florence Ribeiro Avenue and South of George Storrar Drive) and to put measures in place to ensure the safety of our members. 

 

The Groenkloof gate monitoring system and service level agreement with Axon street patrol is managed by the GSI.
